Vegan diets are a modern human development, most recently having research started in 1946. They have likely been around for thousands of years and can be healthy or missing nutrients. Many people switch back and forth between vegan and vegetarian, milk or cheese is more acceptable than eggs for reasons of microbiology. Giving someone the wrong kind of food accidentally is a form of bio assault. There is a lot to say about eating vegan while traveling. Try stopping at a grocery store and bringing snacks to the hotel. Next on my internet feed is the concept of sexual assault and age gap dating. This is a complex topic that is more appropriate in older age groups. For example, think 50 and 30, 22 and 45, 35 and 19, or 50 and 80 / 50 and 70.

In younger age groups, there is a lot of data to examine and overall the human population is moving towards not being sexually active until after 20. This does not mean teenagers are not sexually active or that every instance of a teenager being sexually active is an assault. Parents and school nurses are good role models to ask questions to.

YouTube has been free from controversy for quite some time, currently someone on the platform is possibly going to jail for watching pornography of a 12 year old. They are stated to be around 20. Laws have recently changed and some of the cool kids remember conversations of dating older or younger around that age. California recently made it legal to date between 14 and 24, overall teenagers are starting to be viewed as adults at 16, many proposals allowing for them to purchase limited amounts of alcohol.

In order to fully understand the concepts, it helps to understand some data in human development over the last 150 years.

14 year olds were eligible to date and marry a man at any age between 1910 and 1930. For boys it was a little older because they weren't strong enough to work yet, around 16 or 17. In the 1970s, dating between 16 and 25 was permissible and in many places encouraged because one of the older adults was more financially stable. This helped with societal development and made young humans less dependent on the elderly.
During the 1990s, nearly 25% of teenage girls were sexually abused by an older person, usually a male because the laws had recently changed. Humans were being asked to develop in a different direction, and there were enforcement actions. This appears to have been temporary because laws are now going back towards classifying teenagers as adults.

Another important thing to examine is brain development and physical development. Recent studies in dating in the 20 to 40 year age group examined the health statistics of couples with opposite traits. Athletic and sedentary can lead to relationship abuse on either side, coercion or neglect. Extreme intelligence and an uncaring desire for academic or intellectual pursuits were also seen as unhealthy. Overall well balanced and fairly similar with some dissimilarities was seen as most healthy. This started the trend with dating outside of age groups or outside of predominant cultures someone is familiar with.

Piaget was studied in this context and it was discovered, that many adults in the preoperational stage and concrete operational stage throughout the entirety of their lives. This adds further context to dating people who are in the concrete operational stage at an early age in some dating groups.

While 20 and 12 is viewed as illegal in many written laws, traditionally dating or viewing is not the same thing. There is a lot of context to the situation with the return to espionage and infiltration policies of the 1990s as well. Or the younger person may want older teenagers and adults to be aware, that some of them are sexually active and that they will be looking for older in just a few years.

We don't know the full story or all the details. Just what the person went to jail for and how that fits in to how society is developing. When examining 18 to 22 year olds, 11/12 is one of those borderline ages, and people lie about their age or the reason they are sending a video.

The data is most often looked at under the following details

8-10, 3rd to 5th grader (physical size and stature)
12-15, 7th/8th to 10th grade

Currently, the U.S. Language is standardizing on a 10th grade level.

It helps to think through this logically and whether what is going on is right or wrong, requires scientific inquiry, or unimportant.

In Europe overenforcing decency laws caused incest to become more prevalent as a form of protest that later developed into a regional fetish. The Europeans reasoned, they can't put us all in jail over our sexual desires.

This case is scarce on details, but there is lots of data on what is currently going on with age gap dating, and classifying teenagers as adults. For context, these are some videos of 11 to 12 year olds. Completely decent.

If found guilty, a sentence for sexual crimes does not always result in jail in many areas. Most often, it would result in therapy for 3-5 years to explore sexuality, desire, impulse control, fantasies, and fetishes. This is a recent development due to newer policies on reducing the amount of jail sentences and increasing the amount of community policing. The sentence can be reduced during therapy with recommendation from a psychologist. Jail time can also result and there can be restrictions on being near certain locations. For more aggravated crimes, jail is often a first consideration with objections to therapy, psychological assessment, and possible rehabilition.

This is all, yet to be determined because it happened fairly recently.
