The tiger had been visiting with the monkeys and had very many new friends. He also learned about different forest relationships like the Elephant and the Aardvark, there was an Orangutang that was friends with a Bonobo, and a Rhinocerous that made friends with an Ostritch near the river where the Rhinocerous swam. Most animals didn't expect to find so many relationships within the forest or the areas nearby.
The forest had many different animal relationships, in and around the forest clearing. There were also different meadows where the animals made friends, played in the grass, or sat and talked as the sun moved across the sky. This was not a place that was very well known, but it was a big place and had lots to do.
A Zebra and Giraffe spent much of their time in the meadows, there was a deer and an antelope, an owl and a deer, and a few clearings over, a catepillar was best friends with a garden snake.
There were also many animals that spent most of their time with other animals that looked like them. The Gorilla for example used to be friends with mostly gorillas and eventually, he became friends with the Ape. They had talked about starting a family together but it wouldn't work out, there were things neither had considered when starting families, and each animal must make their own decision on who their family will be or if they will stay together with their parents family.
The gorilla was open to having many new friends, and would always entertain the fact of starting a new family with any type of animal he got along with, as long as the other animal liked him and thought the same thing about him. The gorilla never entertained friendships without mutual agreement.
The tiger thought about all the things the gorilla had said, and of all the things he had seen in the forest, the meadows, and the other clearings. He decided he wanted to be friends with the Lemur Monkey. They really seemed to like him, and they had already spent lots of time together. Since the tiger didn't have any family, he needed to ask the Lemur monkeys if he would go live with them, or if they would move to his home to start a new lemur colony. The tiger and the lemur monkey decided to live together, and they would spend lots of time together throughout the rest of their lives.
