Analysis:

Braden identifies as a Republican, Conservative and Christian which are protected classes under both discrimination and privacy laws. The political beliefs he believes in are lower taxes, strong military, and safety at home. Braden believes that free speech is a political agenda that was previously supported by liberals, however free speech is a protected Constitutional Right and it is a right extended to visitors or residents from other countries through the UN UDHR. Free Speech is not a poltical agenda. All humans on Earth are encouraged to voice and express their opinions within the context of their Nation of Citizenship's laws. For US Citizens, Free Speech is governed by US Constitution Amendment 1. For non-citizens residing in the USA Free Speech is governed by UN UDHR Article 18, Article 19 and Article 20 to be used in conjunction with International Treaties available through the US Department of State. During the meeting with his Educator at Cypress College Braden showed concern that his educator would not call police, a social worker or carry a weapon if she were in danger. He stated he was attempting to remain calm as he voiced his opinions. Braden was berated by the Educator for stating "police have a difficult job" and agreeing that police are heroes when asked if they should be revered, be seen as heroes and appear on t.v. shows with children. The educator appeared to try to convince Braden that police should not be trusted using her body language and facial expressions to evoke curiosity about why a trusted educator who is a figure of authority to a young college student has a distrust for police. Reporter stated that Educator was more afraid of police than any societal dangers and Braden agreed this was said during the conversation. Reporter also discussed with Braden topics related to cancel culture (boycotting, rejecting membership), liberals, left-wing, right-wing and other buzzwords related to political theater. Braden stated that he was worried about his grades, worried about class, worried about the future when he discovered the online meeting was recorded by the professor after the Reporter correlated cancel culture to receiving a failing grade or being expelled from the university. This brings into question consent related to online meetings in an educational setting and the reason for the one on one meeting with the instructor. Was Braden under investigation for commiting a crime, is the educator a sworn police officer who is trained in establishing probable cause? Why did Braden become worried that the meeting had been recorded and publicly broadcasted through an online video streaming platform? Braden should have no fears about expressing his opinions and beliefs related to police officers, social worker roles in society, approriate times and reasons for carrying a weapon or with discussing what legal measues are available for someone who may be in danger but refuses to seek help or to defend themselves. Under California Education Code 76060, students are allowed to form a student body association to participate in governance of the college. The activities of the student body association should be practice for running their communities, maintaining jobs, achieving financial success or stability, running a home budget and contacting appropriate government authorities or officials about problems they are having such as difficulty with a certain subject (this job sucks or is too hard for me), difficulty saving money, difficulty finding an affordable place to live. Through the college they should be working together to ensure what they are learning at the college is relevant and pertinent to what is actually going on in society today so that they can begin employment and have adequate social skills immedieiatly upon graduation. The student body association should not deprive anybody of rights, it should not encourage criminal activity, it should encourage conversations about laws that the community would like to change so that nobody in the community becomes a criminal. It  should discuss which laws can not be changed without instigating war (Constitutions, International Treaties, Common Law Rights, Civil Rights, etc.). The Student Body Association should be non-partisan, mindful of the Laws of the United States and aware that the Laws of California must be compliant with the Laws of the United States. They should also be aware that the Laws of California are supersceded by the Laws of the United States but that California has the authority to create laws to govern its communities that are not in conflict with US Law. No student at any public university or college in the United States should ever feel nervous that they are doing something wrong, possibly commiting a criminal act by stating their opinions on societal matters. There should be no further discussion if those opinons are left, right, or center. Votes should be electronic, private, tabulated by non-partison electors sworn to uphold the Laws of the United States and cast without fear of being ostracized from the community. Police are part of every community and their job is to maintain public order and in cases of insurrection or rebellion to Defend the Executives if Public Order can not be maintained. When public order can not be maintaned the United States Armed Forces will be called into active duty to restore public order to a level that is manageable for the police. We do not live in an anarchist society, we do not live in a democracy, We live in a Republic and University and College Students should be free to discuss what that is, how it differs from Democracy and what the different economic models for society are (Communist, Socialist, Free Market, Capitalist). Most countries need a mixture of the 4 economic models to make their societies and communities work properly. Universities and Colleges should also be a place to discuss immigration, importing and exporting goods and services, exploring other cultures and it can be a place for sharing ones beliefs as long as the students take no for an answer when someone does not want to particpate in their religion or culture (either in whole or in part). In this regard, police help maintain public order and work on the local level, they take statements, document evidence, issue traffic citations and defend people who can not or are unwilling to defend themselves from theft and violence. The Courts decide using a Heirarchy of Laws whether the Citation is valid or not. Under the US Constitution, the fine portion of any citation or criminal penalty is a Suit at Common Law. The Legislature makes laws and Citizens should review these laws on a regular basis to ensure all laws passed are in compliance with supersceding laws and that any legislation with unclear or conflicting text is amended so that there is no conflict of laws with supersceding laws. This is what a student body association should look like at every college and university in the United States. It should allow students to experiment with Civics inside the college, make stupid mistakes, ask stupid questions and not have fear of learning how to be a Citizen, Resident or Visitor to different places on Earth. Many people stay in their family home for many generations, how do you make that place inviting for visitors or people who may want to live there or have a visitor center but make it clear that long term residents are not accepted without an application and agreement to adhere to a code of conduct. Discuss Constitutional Issues in both these scenarios. Throw a bunch of Federal and State Agency names into a hat or fish bowl and pick one out and pretend to be an employee of that agency then compare your conduct to the US Code and California Legislation. This issue should not have happened in the United States, it should not have been telvised and the student should not have been made to feel that it is not o.k. (possibly illegal) to voice support for police. The teacher should be investigated for deprivation of rights and for privacy violations and the school should re-evaluate its policies and ensure they are compliant with all Governing Law listed in this post. If a conflict of Law is found, the student body association with the assistance of teachers should write to both the California Legislature and Congress and discuss in the school auditorium what the responses were.
