The 1990s were an interesting time in Human History, it was a time of peace and great prosperity. There were several minor incidents throughout the world like the Kuwait War, Waco, World Trade Bombing 1993, Oklahoma City Bombing, Columbine School Shooting, the Rodney King Riots and the Gang Turf Wars of approximately 1995-1997. Other than that, things were pretty peaceful. For the most part.
Take for instance, this video of Christian Los Angeles. Here, the valiant Christians have set their foot down and proceeded to stone the heathens with lead stones using a modern sling shot, the hammer slings back as it strikes the stones launch euphemism.
At 1:32 to 1:34 one of the males in focus, casts out demons, as he casts lead stones towards the demon possessed.
At 1:42 to 1:53, an unarmed martyr who failed to put on the full armaments of christ, attempts to prevent a child from not coming unto the lord.
At 2:10 to 2:12, a local inhabitant, screams we will no longer be poor. And at 2:25-2:27, his friends screams, we need that alcohol, we are poor!
At 2:37 to 2:41 the original focus reassures his friends, we will no longer be poor. They will be rich and merry in the image of Dionysius Soter.
At 3:10 to 3:11 the subject of focus grabs his symbol of poverty and runs into the arms of god.
Finally at 3:18 to 3:21 and beyond, the friend of the main focus, drives through the valley of the shadow of death wearing Lucifer's wardrobe.
Moving to another incident of that time, a man is being unlawfully detained and being interrogated. These are purportedly the local neighborhood watch leaders conducting an in field court martial because the government is non functional.

And here between 0:30 and 0:36, a one on one fist fight turns into a multi assailant beating when a 2nd person decides to jump in and escalate the fight.
At 2:38 to 2:42, the assaultee confronts the escalator and defends himself against ongoing threats, stalking and harassment at 2:56 to 3:01. He shows an act of kindness to end the assaulter's suffering at 3:11 and is startled 3:18 to 3:20. After this incident, many things would change including enforcement of the 6 grave violations and the ratification of the child soldier convention through consent or assent in 2002.
