Modernity has to do with the current time period, often within a year or two in either direction of the current point in time. It can get complicated with different lifestyles, interests, hobbies, and expressions. For example, engineering has been traced back to approximately 3,000 BC but modern engineering would focus on skyscrapers, dense urban or suburban areas with lots of amenities, high velocity transportation, and plush leisure areas. There is also technology to consider which can resemble an 1850s electronic contraption, a 1980s personal computer, or a thin device running exclusively on cloud services.
It can be said that someone that lives a modern lifestyle, is up to date with the current releases for the things that interest them; and that have not been released to the public such as early release, limited circulation, or product testing samples. There are obviously, certain things that would be classical, recent, or historical but the majority of their expressions would be modern or something correlated to modernity like a historical piece that allows visualization of timeline development.
With theater, a modern production might be distributed to hundreds of thousands audience members over electronic signals; and have augmented reality venues nearby in select locations with ameneties, concessions, souveneirs, and ability to socialize with others. A more classical solution would be an entertainment hall with seating rooms, or venue grounds like fairs and circuses.
Reactions
Incredelouity is often the expression people feel when the encounter something modern, especially if its from a culture or human expression group that they have not encountered or heard about before. It gives them many things to learn, participate in, experience, and/or enjoy if that is acceptable to the new group they met. Incredelouity, or being incredelous, can be awe and amazement; or it can be dissapointment, dismay, sadness, and depression. Being impressed or disagreeing with the concepts they encountered, has a lot to do with the reaction. For example, having spent lots of time with recent or contemporary expressions, objects, and findings only to discover there is something much more modern; or thinking that the new concepts they discovered are in contrast to something thats already important part of their lives.
Being contemporary, often means the recent past, and a lot of times its within the past twenty years, when thinking that some modern concepts can have their origins over 3,000 years ago, contemporary doesn't seem that far off for those that are working towards having certain concepts in their life. For many, its a good pausing point or as far as they currently want to go. Being contemporary and experiencing modern can result in a decision that needs to be made:
- Can modern concepts fit into a contemporary lifestyle?
- Can contemporary concepts be converted to modern?
- Will being modern require constant changes?
- Is being contemporary comfortable and satisfying?
Normally, being modern requires changes every 4-5 years during rapid development at a minimum, except for items that have no further development because they are complete or because its in an update and redesign process.
Work
Automation is a workplace requirement for any tasks that are error prone, repetitive, are less expensive when done by a computer, or have a high rate of injury when done by humans.
Many modern office workers will be heard exclaiming "can this be automated, why not? fine, i'll go do my job then". The future is predicated to be economically based on communism, socialism, and open market economies meaning places to sell services and products are non-discriminatory and have the same qualification process for anyone interested. One of the things with open markets is that they often have a capacity, that needs to be evaluated if the service level is low quality or extremely slow. Overall, competion and concepts like game theory in open markets are considered inhumane and degrading to human life. Normally, markets are profitable through logical work distribution and non discriminatory qualification processes for the sale of products and services.
This leaves large factories, warehouses, business parks, and office buildings to do traditional work that is normally heavily automated and is being updated at regular intervals to require even less workers and make more use of robotics. Board rooms of the future are being designed with part time CEO groups in mind that would enhance their work life balance, increase compliance, auditability, and humane working conditions throughout large enterprises. Manufacturing facilities and distribution centers are being built with these modern and futuristic concepts in place from day one.
With socialism and communism, a modern take resembles social services programs in western hemisphere nations where those without a work requirement are in a communist program and those in work training or educational requirement are in a socialist program that is funded by taxes or simply by the government printing more money for that specific program. Concepts in banking, national debt, taxes, and economic modeling are also going through a modernization process. The goal for most workers is to increase personal savings, get rid of chronological resumes and work gap disqualifications, and make workplace or job role eligibility based on credentials, training verifications, and experience in related jobs.
Living Accomodations
The thirty year mortgage and home purchases are a thing of the past for most people and a curiosity for people that have made a recent purchase or are considering one in the near future. This is because time spent on Earth is different than it was from the 1930s through 2005.
People tend to move around more often, going to college, traveling for work, even working in different parts of a metro every few years are all cause for a new place in a modern context. While many people do make purchases still, the requirement from buyers is ten to fifteen year home loans, and an ability to sell quickly, or to have a purchase made by a bank if on the market for more than sixty days. This presents challenges in traditional housing markets that require modernization.
A decision made on housing rights, was to allow certain people to have low cost accomodations, in various areas based on right of abode because they travel often and are unlikely to be able to keep up with inflation when they return to certain areas. Those that don't travel often would have to wait for modernization programs, that allow more free movement and have pre rated living areas with certain work conditions, home life features, and nearby amenities.
Overall, the future seems to be based on rent with commercial and residential developers focused on buying land, building out areas, and hiring property managers to maintain the civil infrastructure. This would eventually require the developers to form a board, which resembles government, and selling individual properties is where the real estate industry has been having problems since 2005 due to modernization and concepts of life and existence on earth. Wages and jobs have a lot to do with the situation, most people can only afford rent, and others travel too often and don't have time to rent out properties when they are away from their home purchase.
New Dynamics
With economic modeling, real estate and residential property owner, have high overhead costs, require paying loan interest, maintenance, court costs for evictions, covering unpaid rent; and possibly being told there are no longer housing programs in there area and that they'll need to lower the cost of rent to prices people can afford. On top of paying for maintenance, upkeep, and home loans.
Many people find this unfair and inhumane and are modeling several solutions. The current dynamic is rent an property management, amenities and grocery stores. Bars and restuarants are more popular than night clubs and concert or sport venues are neutral to ok. Conventions, presentations, and socializing are desirable if enough people show up to make the event interesting.
Each person will have to go through their own personal budgets which now include modeling, projections, assessments, and adjustments. For example, if someone loses their job and goes on unemployment, their personal budget software will update all the bills that will be late and provide a bill of late fees based on time on unemployment, cost of late fees, and amount of reduced income. These projections will help them decide if they are able to rent or buy and what their bank accounts need to look like in order to make a purchase. Most people will continue to rent in order to increase mobility.
Dating
This is different in modern western hemisphere nations than in anything recent, contemporary, or even most of the distant past. Modern dating appears to be completely new based on concepts that were traditionally used by only small groups of people and many people combining concepts to establish new dating dynamics.
Consent and non-aggression seems to be the main qualifier in being date eligible.
Polygamy in a modern concept has its origins in open relationships, multi-spouse marriages, swinger couples, and casual sexal interactions. It works on the basis that STDs are reduced with increased hygeine and lower number of partners. Many people are attracted to more than one partner, and traditionally, this may have been how humans bred in many areas without creating a population problem. Most often, there is a male who provides all, most, or some of the requirements for more than one female; tax concepts have been simplified to dependent or non dependent because of this, in addition to other things like young adults working before twenty years of age. They can either all live in the same household or in nearby apartments either next to each other or close proximity. This can also happen with a dominent or alpha female and several partners or with a person of any orientation and preference. It has a financial requirement that most people avoid disclosing in its entirety. This can also work well for groups of non-dependents all living on their own but with a relationship agreement amongst the group.
Age gap dating has had an update. Traditionally young girls of 12 to 16 years old were given to older males of 19 to 35 years of age. There was often a waiting period, necessary for the girl to mature and talk about their life desires outside of home, today hobbies, interests, and work expressions. For the past twenty years this was in decline going to 10 year age differences, then 4 year age differences, before going to 20 year age differences once more right before the recession. This thought to be because of genetic expression and biodiversity requirements programmed into humans rna through natural earth processes. Its a complex topic that received widespread acceptance and request for information on safe family practices between 2016 to 2020. Some of the concepts seem to be: as a way to pass on assets, to form a bridge between human expression groups, or because the age gap couple have similar expressions that aren't found widely, or at all, within their own age group.
This has seen experimentation between people of various age groups, income levels, education levels, and expression groups open to trying age gap dating. One comment that stood out to a lot of people was that they saw no difference in an age gap couple dating when compared to people of different educational levels and income levels. They provided the following examples using 40 to 80 as an additional range and 20 to 50 as the primary age gap:
- 50 year old bachelor degree holder with 20 year old phd graduate.
- 50 year old phd holder with 20 year old high school drop out.
- 49 year year old phd candidate with 23 year old phd graduate.
- 80 year old with 2 million in savings and 50 year old making $30k per year.
- 64 year old with purchased house and 260k in savings and a 39 year old making $85k per year.
Various factors are also a consideration, like changing dynamics, increased travel, and relocation, preference and expression, and biodiversity.
Humans in the early 90s lived to approximately 60 and that is currently updated to an estimated 70 to 85, families with older relatives over 90 during that time period have no estimated guess but 90 to over 100 is likely. Those with family members reaching over 100 are experimenting health improvements in older family members and theorizing life for a 200 year old human. This means that a 30 and 50 year old from different life expectency groups may end up being together for more than 20 years and die around the same time.
Marriage continues to be in decline but couples are staying together longer and waiting longer in between establishing a new relationship or going dating again. This means that couples that would have traditionally broken up and never talked to each other again, or had limited interactions going forward often can work through their differences and get back together for an additional period of time. This is good for monogamous orientations, they usually have their own dating venues that are geared toward long term relationships with dating as a sample analysis or relationship analysis before making a long term decision. Sample analysis meaning going to a different human expression group and relationship analysis meaning having settled with an expression group and now just finalizing the relationship partner decision.
Relationship studies are mostly based on heterosexual relationships because that is the predominent sexual expression, this does not mean that concepts found in these studies can not be applied to relationships of different preferences. Many of the concepts for successful relationships are based on human expression and human interaction standards or guidelines. Relationship counselors are also available to discuss difficulties with implementing certain concepts into a relationship, or for discussing dating prefrences and uncertainty about dating areas.
