Drug use in western hemisphere nations has received lots of attention over the past 10 years. It is no longer viewed as a fun pass time or even an acceptable activity for those living in poverty and not planning on kids. Even those who are placed in dangerous situations as an excess of their gene pool have turned away from drug use.
This has left nations with a predicament, what should the government do with those addicted to narcotics and not eligible to work. Often times, they can create safety hazards in the workplace. For many governments, the answer has been found in drug colonies. Here the government provides free drugs to the population along with their housing, meals, and utilities.
New York was initially ridiculed for adding a sugar tax to their populations economies. However, this also started conversations on health management, effects of edible products, organic chemistry, and agricultural chemistry. Many natural items are considered drugs. Its not just sugar. This include ginko giloba, ginseng, cacoa, cinnamon, and certain spices such as cayenne peppers that can increase blood pressure and blood flow. Most food chemicals alter biological processes through blood circulation. Some food chemicals additionally alter brain chemistry.
In these conversations on earth based food chemistry, coffee was discovered to have naturally occurring caffeine in its harvest. Black tea and green tea where also found to have caffeine that is naturally occurring. Other herbal trees have various effects on human biochemistry. The most notable are teas that are soothing or calming.
As the conversation continued, nicotine and alcohol found their way into the conversation. Interestingly, the U.S. Surgeon General declared nicotine to be an antiviral and antimicrobial agent. It can currently be found in vape. Vape also is available with saltwater or without nicotine. The nicotine shops recommend at least a 0.5 mg solution of nicotine but, the can go as high as 49 mg. The avg amount will vary by person.
Alcohol is used to sterilize, clean, and sanitize. When examining edible alcohol, its important to think about the process of applying alcohol to the bloodstream.
Most people don't think about this process. They get together with their friends, drink the alcohol, and have a good time on the side effects.
The alcohol enters the blood stream through the digestive tract and absorbs into the blood stream through the stomach. It also makes its way to the bladder and can clean out the system on an empty or almost empty stomach. For many people the stomach must be slightly full and they need to drink water while the alcohol is processing.
Interestingly, with enough alcohol consumption, the liver expels all the enzymes and toxins its carrying into the blood stream to process the alcohol. This bio process is actually what gets people drunk. Its theorized that people that can drink a lot and hardly seem drunk are either healthier or have an extremely clean liver.
As the toxins are circulating through the blood stream, additional alcohol or liquid beverage can cause this toxins to expel through the bladder. As the alcohol levels lower, the liver resumes processing enzymes in the blood stream.
Both nicotine and alcohol can be purchased without a prescription outside the phamaceutical section. This says a lot about American health. Imagine having a store filled with only cough syrup in all different flavors. Now picture the American worker getting together with friends after work or on the weekend to drink cough syrup while watching television.
The other commonly used drug is caffeine. This affects the beverage industry and they have been requested to make caffeine free drinks before consumers reduce their consumption. Many people consume caffeine daily and the recommended dose is about 400 mg or no more than 4 cups of coffee per day. For a performance athlete, they are allowed to have up to 800 mg of caffeine per day. They burn off most of the caffeine through their metabolism and describe different effects than an average coffee consumer. Sodas have more sugar and provide different effects than coffee.
Many consumers have moved away from drug usage and towards healthier diets for sedentary lifestyles. However, a popular pass time for the near future has been suggested as flavored vape, mixed drinks, and caffeinated beverages in various sizes, colors, and viscosities.
There are currently no laws on the consumption of these three chemicals. Caffeine is currently undergoing trials for depression, fatigue, and disoriented thought patterns.
